Dresslink.com Item Review

A few weeks ago I had a post about dresslink.com. I was invited to try a few items and write about them on the blog. It was so exciting for me to try out a few items for my viewers. I am always skeptical about items that come from China because depending on the company, it can take a long time for the items to make it to my door. With Dresslink.com, the ordering process was easy, there were a number of options I liked, and the items shipped within 2 days, making it to my house within 17 days (I chose China Post, 10 - 25 business days, with tracking number). I liked that I could track my package so when the items showed up I was ready for them!

Though I am usually a Medium, I ended up ordering the Long-Sleeved Buffalo Plaid Top in an XL and the Bowknot Loose Blouse in size L (pictured above). Shipping was different for each item on the site but for most items I could estimate - if the Top was $6, then it would be $12 with shipping. Still...a $12 top is pretty good deal.

Whenever I buy from China, I use reviews on products to decide what sizes to get. Typically I order up a size, sometimes up 2 sizes if the reviewers suggest that. Yet even though I ordered up sizes, the tops I received just did not fit.

Buffalo Plaid Top

Fabric is great. Arm length is a little short. Length was actually pretty good (see 2nd pic especially). Waist even fits...but I can't cross my arms or button across the chest. This was very disappointing to me so I went on a search for an alternative. I ended up finding a great one at Marshalls. You can see other options I was able to round up in this post.

Bowknot Blouse

This top felt less like what was pictured. The fabric was more sheer than I would like and like the last option, the arms were too tight to move. That being said, the length was what I would have expected and the bow itself is removable so I may use that on its own with one of my own blouses. If I had ordered 2 sizes up rather than 1 size up, it may have worked better.

All in all, I was happy with the shipping and the quality of the materials. However, I wouldn't recommend it for women's figures. That being said, I am still interested in some of their faux fur options since tightness in the arms is not important in a faux fur vest. A few faux fur options I looked at are in the original post here.

Thanks for stopping by! I'll have some office DIY up for you soon! Have a great weekend!
