Rose Pleated Dress For Valentine's Day

Well, New England has been hit by quite a bit of snow over the last few days but that didn't stop me from shooting my Valentine's Day Date Night look. (If you're still looking for ideas, check out last week's post on special date ideas!) I don't know about you, but I think this pink metallic dress just pops against the pretty white snow!

When I saw this gorgeous dress I knew I had to try it. Using the measurements on the website as a guide, I ordered 2 sizes up and I wish I would have sized up only one size. It definitely fits but I would prefer a tighter fit around the waist since the dress is more of an empire waist on me and a tighter fit would make it feel less baggy. To solve that problem I added a button-up blazer to give myself more of a waist (plus, long sleeves are nice while we have snow on the ground!).

In the end, I love how this rose metallic dress looks, especially paired with my pretty bow heels and new Sugarfix by Baublebar Pink Statement earrings!
