Today I am bringing you a whole host of spring favorites! It has taken me so long to find a number of the items listed here and I'm so happy to share them with you! Ever since the sun started returning to the Seattle area I've been looking for clothing items and accessories to brighten up my work wardrobe. Spring doesn't mean you have to throw out your dark clothing staples. Just add some nude accessories or a floral pop and you're set!
I've been looking for just the right floral tunic since last spring. Every time I find one it's either too expensive, the wrong color for my skin tone or has a floral pattern that is too big. This one, however, is just so perfect! SheIn.com is a retailer I've ordered from a number of times and though I haven't had great luck with any bottoms I've ordered from their site, I have had great luck with tunics. This one comes in multiple colors, is a nice light material, and fits wonderfully when I sized up. (Often on this site I order a size up unless the reviews say otherwise.) It's the perfect floral tunic for work, since it's long enough to either wear with skinny jeans or to tuck in to a skirt! I keep finding more and more items from Shein that are great for spring and summer too. I will link some of them below!
Then, I have been wanting some nude accessories for spring. I can add them to black pants to balance out a light top. In reality, I've wanted a pair of nude pumps for work for the last two years. I have kept my eye on stores like Ross and TJMaxx to see if I could find the right pair. Often the heels are too tall to be comfortable wearing all day at work or the color just isn't quite right. When my husband told me I could order a pair of shoes after working so long and hard on our taxes this year (hey, I saved us a couple hundred dollars by doing it myself rather than taking it to H&R Block!) I knew that adding a pair of Nude heels to my wardrobe was a priority. I read a lot of reviews and ordered these. I...LOVE...them!! They are the most comfortable pair of pumps I have ever owned. They have a cushion under the ball of the foot and padding in the back that hugs my heel. They fit like a glove! If you try them, make sure to order a 1/2 size down. I did and they fit perfectly!
Finally, I needed a lighter colored purse to go with my spring colors and when I spotted this one on Shopstyle, I ordered it immediately. It's a great, affordable option for those who love this Chanel quilted purse. It's definitely smaller, but it is big enough to hold a pair of sunglasses, a phone, some makeup and a few other items. It was much bigger inside than I expected and I love it. It pairs wonderfully with the new heels! Nude accessories are such a fun way to dress up key basics for spring!
