(I LOVE that dainty little necklace!)
Today I welcomed a whole new crop of students to AP Gov. It's a day that almost yearly gives me anxiety - wondering whether I'll have a good group of students and whether they'll like me. Like I did back in High School, I always think about what I want to wear my first day of school. As a teacher, it almost always consists of a pencil skirt because to me, pencil skirt = professionalism. Today, it poured down rain (seriously...there is a river flowing off my roof right now) but I was determined to hold on to summer as long as I could!
I love the combo of orange and pink and I can't get enough of my Kendra Scott Alexandra earrings. To tie the pink in to the rest of the outfit I painted my nails with my favorite color, China Glaze's #179. Then all you need is to add a pair of nude heels and some fun jewelry and you've got a back to school outfit fit for a teacher!
(I apologize for the quality of the pictures today but as a result of the downpour outside it was both too dark inside my house and too wet much beyond the spot I took these to get better pictures!)
