teacher fashion for spring chambray and stripes for work

Just a quick post this week since I've been sick all week and ended up missing 2 days of school! For an AP teacher this close to Exams, it's a nightmare missing days. I have quite a bit of catching up to do! But, the sun came out today and spring is in the air so I want to share what I wore to my first day back at work!

I love an all-white outfit(and stripes go with everything!) but this morning I felt like it needed a little bit of color. Tying the chambray shirt around the waist was just the thing to break up the white and the earrings added the color! It's comfortable, but work-appropriate for a high school teacher like myself.

In other news, I adore these new sandals and highly recommend a pair of open-toe sandals or mules for spring. They are so comfortable, even with the heel, and the open toe makes these a great alternative to booties for springtime! I have been wearing them almost every day because they go with any pair of my favorite skinny jeans. Plus, they go so well with this awesome purse from Amazon!
