Savannah for a Wedding!

Last week my family headed down to Savannah, GA for my sister's wedding! Savannah is such a beautiful city and I had all these big plans - go out to dinner, go antique shopping downtown, take some pictures for the blog - but when it came down to it, weddings are busy events and most of my time was taken up getting ready for the big day itself! So, I'm sorry to say I have no outfit pictures for you from Savannah. I snapped the picture above on the one afternoon we managed to make it downtown and I recreated it for you below.

My sister and I are only a few years apart and we lived together for a number of years before I got married, so we are close. The best part of the wedding was getting to spend time with her, picking up makeup supplies for the wedding day (I did her makeup!), running errands and getting to see their home.

Everything was a bit hectic, but  in the end the bride was beautiful and the groom was handsome and we got to spend time with people we love. That's the best thing about weddings! 

My cute hubby even let me take a picture! His bow tie is from TheTieBar on Amazon. They have so many different options for self-tie bow ties!

We're home now and back to the grind, but glad Margie and Mike had a beautiful day! I will be back next week with an outfit for International Women's Day!
