I "like" Instagram

A few weeks ago I saw a picture on my LIKEtoKNOW.it Instagram feed featuring one of my favorite statement necklaces.  (More on that necklace, which has become my OBSESSION, later!) Instagram is a great place to get outfit inspiration. When I first got into fashion I started with Pinterest, which directed me to a few bloggers I liked. Those bloggers had Instagram accounts, which I turned to next. Their pictures gave me inspiration for what I could wear the next day. The great thing about LIKEtoKNOW.it is that bloggers who are signed up for the program load their outfit details and when I "like" their picture on Instagram, I get sent an email with links to the products in the picture. It also keeps a record for me online of the things I "liked" on Instagram so I can go back to review them later.

Thanks to http://liketoknow.it/alina2189  for the idea and also for encouraging me to take a risk with a new online retailer- sheinside.com. I won't say I know a lot about the company but I paid $20 and got two great tops. The pieces ship from China so I was skeptical of quality but after receiving multiple emails from LIKEtoKNOW.it with items from  Sheinside, I took the plunge. It took nearly a month to get my items and much longer to get a tracking number than it was supposed to. However, when I got the items they were good quality. I love the website because it gives ideas on how to style the items and reviews from buyers - which helped me know I needed to size up. That being said, if you accept the fact it could take a month to get the items, Sheinside has some great items for great prices.

The fit on the top is a little wider in the waist than I'd like, but the length of the ruffles in back makes up for it. I don't feel comfortable wearing leggings at school unless I have a long cardigan but the length of the ruffles made me feel comfortable enough to go without a cardigan. Besides, I'm definitely a "ruffle" girl!
